Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information this site collects, why, and who it is shared with. It applies to djbalcazarent.com, operated by DJ Balcázar ("we", "us") in Los Angeles, California.

The short version

We collect only what you type into the booking inquiry form. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no social media pixels anywhere on this site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, ever.

What we collect

When you submit a booking inquiry, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your event details — date, start time, venue or address, event type, and any add-ons you select
• The estimated total calculated from those selections

We also briefly process your IP address in server memory to limit spam submissions. It is held for about a minute and is never written to our database. Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, as every web host does.

We do not collect anything else. There is no account to create, no newsletter signup, and no tracking of how you browse this site or any other.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your inquiry: to check the date, prepare a quote, contact you about your event, and keep a record of the request. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

How we contact you

By submitting the form you agree we may contact you by email, phone call, or text message about your event and your inquiry. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any message or using the contact details below.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make this site work, and only so they can perform that service:

• Supabase — hosts the database where your inquiry is stored. (Supabase privacy policy)
• Resend — delivers your confirmation email and the notification email to DJ Balcázar. (Resend privacy policy)
• Vercel — hosts this website and processes the request logs described above. (Vercel privacy policy)

These providers process data on our behalf under their own agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising technology. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party, so simply visiting this site does not report your visit to anyone else.

Do Not Track

Because we do not track visitors across websites at all, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We honor it by default.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for up to two years after your event date, so we can handle follow-ups, repeat bookings, and business records. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted. Email us at the address below and we will take care of it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Security

Inquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that is not publicly readable. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of information we hold deliberately small.

Children

This site is intended for adults booking event services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
